About us

THE PRESS

The foodie Agriturismo

This beautiful 18th-century hillside villa was transformed into an agriturismo by chef Jamal Amin, who will give Tuscan cooking classes or just as happily let you sit there while he does all the work. The immediate surroundings couldn’t be more idyllic: vineyards and olive groves to tour, a farmhouse with its own lake that you’re welcome to take a dip in, and with Florence a short car ride away, you can still get a fill of fashion or art.

"Beautiful Villa,

beautiful house"

What a holiday! Samira and Jamal are the super hosts of Tuscany, going the extra mile with a hot meal waiting for us well after dinner time the evening we arrived. Food is delicious, an ample breakfast is served in the spacious dining room overlooking the countryside, which opens up onto an outdoor patio well serviced with comfortable seating areas. Dinners were innovative, delicious and always 4 courses! The Villa itself is set in soft rolling hills with views on all sides, wild horses roam freely in the nearby fields, we all had a great experience mingling and feeding the new foals. We had standard rooms which were just fine, plenty of space to move around and hang clothes. En suite bathrooms in every room. There are lots of public areas to sit and visit as well as a well stocked and furnished library. The Villa itself is really charming, filled with art and furnishings from all over the world making a very eclectic yet harmonious space full of warmth and colour. The staff were really kind and attentive We stayed for 6 nights, there are several villages close by where we also dined and thoroughly enjoyed a good meal each time. Car hire is recommended. 40 minutes to Florence. 10 minutes to nearest village.

"Joyful & Peaceful"

This was the best stay during our travels through Italy. Approximately 50 minutes drive from Florence. Easy day trips to Siena and vineyards. Samira and Jamal are genuinely lovely and welcoming hosts. They radiate positive energy. The villa is beautiful and comfortably decorated with an eclectic mix of furnishings from Jamal's travels. Our delightful hosts provided everything one would hope for in lodging - an immaculate, comfortable room, delicious and varied food, and excellent service. Add to this a peaceful, natural setting with the sounds of songbirds as we strolled to the fields to visit the horses. We enjoyed a pleasant evening beginning with one of Jamal's excellent dinner creations. We met wonderful people from around the world. Multiple villages are within 10-20 minute drive if you would like to check out the local scene. Jamal and Samira took the time to help us map our way and provided good recommendations. Thank you to Jamal, Samira and your wonderful staff for a memorable stay
